With Letters from the Farm, the 21 Roots Farm Animal Pen Pal Program, you can choose one of our farm animals, write them a letter, and your new farm friend will write you back, send a photo and give you the latest news from the farm. Letters from the Farm is designed to help classes, groups and individuals build connections through the simple joy of letter writing.

Donations are completely optional
If you’d like to support the program, we invite you to make an optional suggested donation of $21. Your gift helps cover materials, postage and animal care while supporting meaningful opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through life on the farm.
Whether you choose to give or simply send a letter, we’re grateful you’re part of our farm community.

Sign Up
Be sure to sign up before you write! This lets us know who you are, who your pen pal is and where to send their letter back to you.

Write your pal a letter
Tell us about yourself, ask questions, share a story, send a drawing, or simply say hello.
