Milking Buckwheat

This summer we have enjoyed milking Buckwheat the goat! She gets milked two times a day, at 6 am and at 6 pm. Everyone enjoys taking a turn and learning how to milk her and the cat enjoys the special milk treat she gets. On the day we talk about the goats both the adult and kid farmers get a chance to milk her. Now you may ask, well where does all the milk go? We tried our hand at making cheese, ice cream, yogurt, and even soap! We are also trying to expand this into future programming!
