Summer of Sunflowers

This summer we added some new crops around the farm. We loved experimented with growing sunflowers, and it was one of our favorite additions! We had a lot of different varieties and different heights in result and it was a total success. After the sunflowers grew, can you guess what we did? We tried grilling them! We grilled the sunflower and ate it like corn on the cob. It was a unique taste and something we will definitely try again! Next year, we’re sure to add some more sunflowers and see it being a staple plant we grow at 21 Roots Farm!
